What an amazing place to stay whilst we were in Umina for 4 days. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decor of the property, with so much attention to detail gave a warm, inviting ambiance. As we were in Umina on business, we couldn’t wait to finish for the day and go back “home”( because that’s what it felt like). I personally enjoyed reading all the books that were placed around the house. Both indoors and outdoors was spotless, a credit to the hosts. Our communication with Koreen was outstanding. Nothing was a problem. We would highly recommend Once Upon a Tide( great name, by the way!) to anyone looking for a place to stay whilst in Umina.

Our host was an amazing, friendly communicator. The view from water facing bedrooms and living areas was stunning. Spacious home, yard was comfortable for socialising. Outdoor table seated 12 of us to eat together. Great location for shops - only few mins drive. Air con throughout. Modern features. Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. Jetty was great too.

We had a two bed, second floor apartment with a large balcony from which we had lovely views over the jetty and the wider river expanse. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed including a kitchen, seating area, modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. It looked as if the whole apartment had recently been refurbished and it was well furnished. The location on the beach was wonderful with car parking available right in front of the hotel. The staff were all delightful being helpful, enthusiastic, friendly and efficient. We ordered up dinner in our apartment and the food was delivered promptly and was delicious. All in all we were delighted with our stay and we would like to have spent additional nights there.

What an amazing place to stay whilst we were in Umina for 4 days. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool looked beautiful. ROOM needs updating old furniture Couch was the most uncomfortable one ever sat on.hotplates in kitchen looked dirty.hated the weird entrance through 2 doors. Now the spa in bathroom is big safety concern. I fell couldn't get out lucky my friend was there. It was so slipped I would not get in it again waited till I got home. To have a shower. I would not recommend this to stay in to anyone I know. Also had a bad smell when we walked in. Very disappointing..

The pool being right outside our unit, and the Diggers Club was next door. The large outdoor patio area was fabulous. The small galley kitchen was great to make our own breakfast. The layout of the unit and the size, was all perfect. The laundry facilities were great as well.
