We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay in the Penthouse. The location is perfect: we took the bus from Salzburg and the walk to the apartment was short and easy, even with luggage. The apartment is large, well furnished with many antiques, and the kitchen is well-equipped. (There is a Spar within an easy walking distance of about 10 minutes with everything from toiletries to a cheese and meat counter and small bakery.) The photos in the booking.com listing are accurate – each window has a different view of beautiful Sankt Gilgen, with the best view being from the balcony and dining area. Michael is a super host and prompt communicator. Best cakes ever in Nannerls’ Café!

Great location between the lakes. Quiet accommodation surrounded by nature. A farm where children can access the animals if they want. Playground. Option of fresh milk, eggs and bread. There was no problem with anything. Suitable for families with children, couples or a group of friends. We would love to stay here again.

The apartment we got was roomy, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything that you would need for an enjoyable stay. It has been a while since we had the opportunity to enjoy our stay so much, and were very pleasantly surprised with the apartment we got. What a majestic lake view...very classy and spacious appt with beautiful interiors ...kitchen is the best that we came across in our trip....it's better to be self contained for the car (parking available). After travelling through Europe this was the best apartment we stayed in and was much better than the photos. Included fantastic kitchen facilities to cook, comfortable bed and large bathroom which included washer/ dryer. The view was stunning showcasing Austria’s lakes and mountains. Willl return
