Great place! The location is very convenient, three minutes from the ferry and from the bus station. Magical view of the lake. The apartment is very quiet, good to sleep. The apartment has everything you need. I really enjoyed this holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay in the Penthouse. The location is perfect: we took the bus from Salzburg and the walk to the apartment was short and easy, even with luggage. The apartment is large, well furnished with many antiques, and the kitchen is well-equipped. (There is a Spar within an easy walking distance of about 10 minutes with everything from toiletries to a cheese and meat counter and small bakery.) The photos in the booking.com listing are accurate – each window has a different view of beautiful Sankt Gilgen, with the best view being from the balcony and dining area. Michael is a super host and prompt communicator. Best cakes ever in Nannerls’ Café!

An amazing homestay with caring and welcoming hosts. We got an amazing appartment with a fully equipped kitchen, seating in the garden full of roses and a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and tidy. The location must be great for cycling. The closest lake (Hintersee) is approx. 5 km from the appartment. Othwerwise Faistenau has a bigger supermarket, bakery and a few restaurants.

Norman und Irine were of great help to us, picking us up from the airport and dropping us in Salzburg, brought us an umbrella and iron when we needed it, very nice and helpful. Lovely traditional house with modern twists. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly host who was very welcoming. Good location for several lakes but away from the crowds. Quiet location with lovely views. Kitchen well equipped although a small freezer and a microwave would have been useful.

Clear instructions for arrival, very nice owner. The value was amazing. The apartment had everything we needed for three night stay except I would add salt and pepper to kitchen. We want to come back.

This accommodation was very nice and clean, well equipped, the kitchen has literally everything you can think of, everything is new/renovated and for a very good price you get everything that you need, the only thing we were sorry about was that we couldn’t stay longer, we loved the place so much! The owner was friendly, place was in a good location (you do need to have a car though if you want to go around). If you have the chance to stay here, definitely do!
