My husband has a disability and at check in I asked for a room closest to the lobby….my request could not be fulfilled. Had to take 2 elevators to get to our room,,,lugging heavy luggage, no bell man to help. It was a very stressful time for us, we will not be staying here in the future. Sorry Double tree we loved staying her in the past.

SeaTac is a small city which surrounds the airport of the same name, better known as Seattle-Tacoma Airport. It is the busiest passenger hub in the state of Washington and has the unusual distinction of having a reputation for serving good food. Its 3 parallel runways are flanked to the north and south by 2 of the city’s green parks and others are on the shores of Puget Sound, separating the city from Vashon Island.
Unsurprisingly, aviation is one of SeaTac’s biggest industries and several international airlines have their headquarters here. Much of the accommodation is also centred around the terminal buildings. Many of the hotels and cheap motels on Booking.com offer swimming pools and free airport shuttles, making that early morning departure or late night arrival so much easier.
A train links the airport directly to Seattle city centre, as does the interstate which also goes past neighbouring Tacoma. SeaTac City Hall is just off the interstate, a few streets from large Angle Lake whose calm waters are a popular spot for fishing.
To the north-west in Tukwila, the Westfield Southcenter mall is the largest shopping centre in the state and has a whole host of restaurants as well as big name brands.

The room was extremely basic and also full of stale cigarette smoke had to leave the window wide open for hours just to breathe properly - the bedding was very old and scruffy and the bed uncomfortable. There was a tatty armchair and a desk and chair. It had a microwave. It is convenient for the airport which is a 15 minute walk

The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice and if we had questions they answered with no hesitation. The parking lot connected to the hotel was secure. Just more lighting around the hotel is needed The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

The airport is big and awkward to navigate.
The airport is big and awkward to navigate. Flight transfer required many escalators (elevators) and three different train-shuttles, none of which linked exactly so we missed our flight connection and resulted in a huge cost that we had to pay again for a transatlantic flight + 1 day + hotel costs. We didn't get lost across SeaTac but every little moment to stop and think made a difference and I wonder if the folks that put up direction signs ever actually try to follow their own routes??? The airline told us it was our own fault for not getting across the entire airport in time but we did our very best !!!!! SeaTac No thank you. Supposedly one-ticket alliance airlines - No thank you.

Our travel plans were disrupted requiring us to the stay in the area before continuing on to our destination. This is not uncommon, so having good, convenient, cost effective hotel options makes these disruptions easier to manage.

SEATAC is a busy airport, and can be overwhelming, especially for those who do not have TSA-Pre Check. Recommend arriving 2 hours prior to departure, to ease one's comfort level, as there always seems to be a construction project in the works.
I stay at hotels near the airport; most have free shuttle service, and there are several good restaurants nearby, some within walking distance. Sharps RoastHouse is a good one, but expect to pay a bit more for a meal and beverage. Silver Dollar Casino has good food, and the prices are reasonable.

Waited 55 mins after a long international flight from Ireland .. called 5 times to check up… kept saying it’s coming… desk person was flippant.. got to the room. Bathroom was dirty z the. When I went to have a shower ( had to step in bath ) there were tons of black hairs in the tub!!! Also hairs in the sink.. was s sposed to be ungraded to a suite after I complained to front desk n she said she would upgrade me instead was just sent to a similar room.. awful experience I will NEVER stay here again!
Our family of 4 stayed for one night in June prior to our Alaskan cruise. We arrived around 10 pm at the airport, called the hotel for the free shuttle pick up, and waited around 20 min. The airport was very busy. Our room was on the 4th floor and was quiet. The hotel had complimentary continental breakfast that ends at 10 am. The breakfast room was small. Overall, it is a good value hotel that is convenient for a night stay.
we stay at this hotel before flying out of SeaTac. We are Hilton members but the Hilton properties at the airport are comparable in cost per night, so why not have a wonderfully pleasant stay at Cedarbrook! A little resort in the middle of airport congestion. Lovely outdoor grounds and dining, delicious fish on the menu, lounges on each floor with yogurt and ice cream in the fridge!
I always stay at the Coast Gateway Seattle when I have a very early flight from, or very late flight to SEATAC. I love their free 24 hour airport shuttle, and the rooms are clean and spacious. Free continental breakfast until 10am is nice too, where you can cook up a quick waffle if you want. It's priced affordably and the front desk staff are always pleasant and helpful.
Room is very comfortable with crisp clean sheets and plenty of pillows. Almost directly under SeaTac airport runway and facing Pac Highway, yet noise was quite muted: TV at low volume drowned it out. A nice glass-enclosed shower, a good-sized mini fridge, a room safe. Alas, no microwave. Chosen for free airport shuttle; many area hotels dropped that perk.
The room was comfy.
The warm chocolate cookies on arrival with check-in was a lovely surprise and appreciated!
For its placement near the airport, it was relatively quiet and peaceful.
Having a hotel shuttle that was free and available to catch to the airport was a part of my decision as it made it easy for an early morning flight out.
My car battery died, and the manager was more than helpful in trying to obtain some jumper cables. I still print boarding passes, and most places don't even have a PC/printer setup. At this hotel the process was all touchscreen and was great. Of the hotels in Seatac, this one is about as close to the airport entrance as you can get.
1. The front desk staff was very kind to let us check in before 3pm
2. Complimentary shuttle pick-up from/drop-off to airport
3. There's a common dining room, microwave and coffee at the lobby area
4. The room is spacious and clean - bed is comfortable
5. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle to a nearby shopping mall
The location was very close to the airport and the shuttle was way more responsive than I have often encountered with hotels at SeaTac. We needed a last-minute stay because our late flight was canceled. The room was reasonably clean, and the bed reasonably comfortable, which was really all we needed.
Room was as described and good for a one-night stay. Comfy bed and pillows and a good sized bathroom too. The free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was good and easy to find, but the hotel itself is also within walking distance from the airport. Staff was helpful and friendly.
This is a motel right next to the highway colocated with a gas station and a coffee bar.
Pretty close to the airport, but cheaper than other hotels that are closer.
A utilitarian, cost effective choice.
This hotel is located very close to the airport, and specifically the rental car return. That was reason #1 I chose this location. It was a little less expensive than others in the area.
Pick up.
At the airport was quick.
And it was close to the hotel.Everybody was friendly from the driver that picked me up from the hotel to the staff that met me when I arrived
The hotel is close to SEATAC airport. They have comfortable beds. There is an onsite restaurant/bar. The staff is courteous. There is also a shuttle to the airport.
