Loved this town.
Loved this town. Just as pretty as Mykonos town but less expensive and less crowded. Lots of locals, no cruisers. Good selection of restaurants. Very nice waterfront. The Apollo Temple was cool—easily accessible and free. Stayed here for two nights, did not venture out to the rest of the island, and could have been perfectly happy staying another 1-2 nights just exploring the town.

Great island to visit - Naxos Town has a lot of good restaurants, plus a good bag wash laundry service - the Captain's laundry. The towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos are well worth a visit. Receptionists were very helpful! They helped set up laundry (12 euros a bag) which was ready the next day. Also, we were able to rent out a car (40 euros a day) so we can see the Plaka Beach and the nearby villages. Pantry Restaurant was next door, which we were able to get coffee and breakfast for convenience.
