Ruma Kaca was a real surprise! We were warmly welcomed by Tiolina (owner) and accompanied to our room and she explained everything. The room and the whole property are very lovingly decorated. The room is located in a former colonial house and has a great view of the lake. It's like staying in a living museum.
The food (dinner and breakfast) was also delicious and very good. As there is also a café in Ruma Kaca, the coffee was wonderful. In her free time, Tiolina sat down at her sewing machine and sewed beautiful hair bands.
Tiolina took us to Paromanang the next day and we visited the local market with her. Unfortunately, we didn't have any more time as we had to continue travelling.

Fabulous lakeside location. Loved being dropped off and picked up at the property by ferry! Our room and balcony looked right over the water. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter on site and all went smoothly. Food was great. Lots of traditional dishes. Lots of communal places to sit anc eat or have drinks.
