Beautiful old hilltop town with lovely restaurants and great views over the lake. We came to this town to relax after a busy time sightseeing, so relaxed by a pool during the day and ate out at night. If you are self catering, there are 3 big supermarkets in the newer part of the town. We walked everywhere as our hotel was with 30 mins of the old town.

The lake wasn’t fun to swim in as the water level was much lower than usual this year. It was also extremely hot end July. You really need an air conditioned car to get around The best restaurant was a Schiacciata place just as you enter the main gate on the right, called Opio. Fresh ingredients and very personable service. Some of the other restaurants were v sub par. Impossible to get fresh fruit anywhere.MohiniUnited States - Review score10.0
