On-site parking is free. A nice, modern hotel of an attractive style, and literally on the beach. The hotel's onsen was good too, with an indoor bath and one open to the air with views out to sea. Colourful yukata and geta are provided free, and you can also wear them outside the hotel to stroll on the promenade. As with most Japanese hotels, the rooms are rather small (especially if you're travelling with a number of pieces of luggage), but the space was well designed to make the most of the space available. Our family room had twin beds and then a raised tatami area with a table that stowed away so that a futon could be laid out for a third person. We had floor to ceiling windows with an awesome view of the sea and the peninsula (sunset was particularly wonderful). We ate the buffet breakfast in the restaurant on site and it was good value for money. The car park has plenty of spaces. We also used the bus, which goes regularly from a block away to Yonago station, in around 15 minutes. There are two convenience stores a couple of minutes walk away. Kaike Onsen is a good base point for Matsue, Izumo and Daisen.

No nonsense hotel with all the basics covered you would need for a night over. It was centrally located and easy access to the trainstation. There is also a (paid) parking option closeby with a discount if you stay in the hotel.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was spacious with a tatami area by the window. All amenities available by reception, with a large selection of yukata for use throughout the hotel and in the onsen on the 3rd floor. Free hotel parking is available.
Seaside hotel. Able to see the beautiful sun rising from the sea level. The hotel has a notice on the timing of the sunset and sunrise. Quiet neighborhood with some restaurants nearby. I love it when I didn’t see any tourists other than Japanese themselves which make us feel like locals. Love the onsen.
Included breakfast was good. Layout of room maximised space. Nice view. Onsen. Restaurant for dinner also did take out.
The Onsen and the private Onsen possible with mixed gender Dinner is nice. The room and the interior of the Ryokan has been recently renovated.
Nice room with tatami mats, excellent facilities, great onsen, good location close to the station.
Nice ryokan close to train station with shuttle bus available if required, room was good size and traditional Japanese style with nice comfortable futons. Public areas were excellent with plenty of sitting areas and large fish pond and free fish food. Public and private baths were great. Traditional Breakfast was great and all staff were very helpfully.
Fantastic Ryokan, they're using really old photos and they do not do it justice. There is a brand new wing for the Onsen's which is fantastic. Very good qualility water in the onsen's too.
