Highly recommend truly authentic place to stay very close to the airport direction.

The staff are so kind and warm, we really feel at home. The breakfast is so delicious, the room is so clean. We really love the Japanese style room. We will for sure live here again if we go to Tokyo!

Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu is situated a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Subway Station, near Nakamise-dori Street and Senso-ji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. Friendly stuff, very helpful with all our questions. Room is small but cozy. Definitely would recommend the place to my friends and also return when visiting Tokyo.

The ryokan has family rooms. Great stay! Exactly as described. The location was perfect—very close to Senso-ji Temple and Ueno Park, and the subway access made getting around Tokyo easy. The apartment is compact but has everything you need. The two bedrooms were a good size and the layout is smart and efficient.

Room was very cozy & relaxing. The Onsen was great. Will definitely visit again

It was located in a nice corner of Asakusa. A bit of a walk and definitely cold during winter. But nice walk nonetheless. Host was superb and so friendly.
