The host was super friendly and nice, the meals were very tasty (both dinner and breakfast), and the atmosphere was really calm & relaxing. We also enjoyed the private Onsen. The location is great - just near the lake and only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. Great value for money!

At the ryokan, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The location. But try to get there early at daylight. The drive is difficult.

Oh, and great Onsen to relax after a whole day out Just beware of the local restaurant closing very early, book your dinners around 5.30pm or 6pm

The hotel has 5 hot-spring baths and serves local specialities for dinner. Gorgeous property, with a real sense of history. Fantastic food in an atmospheric separate dining room. Wonderful onsen with views of the river flowing outside.

Beautiful location. Excellent staff and service. In room onsen was fantastic.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Unique location with spectacular views and great hospitality from the staff, the half boarding was exceptional and we looked forward to every meal
