The onsen was also the best Ive ever been to (as someone who visits Japan yearly in the winter). Great vibe overall, the mood of the lounge was nice and relaxing.

The rooms are spacious, plenty room to move around compared to typical accommodations in Japan. The public toilets and tub/shower rooms are nice. The lobby is nice and large, easy to move about especially when you're lugging ski equipment around. The staff was courteous and friendlly.

Guests can choose to stay in Western rooms or in Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Cleanliness, staff and the place.
