Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. Kyoto Station is a 15-minute drive from this property. The place was beautiful. My only regret is not taking the in-house breakfast and dinner.

The staff is really lovely and very helpful, they can also speak English. They helped us send our luggage off to our next hotel too. Room was large, clean, and the futon was a dream to sleep on. The onsen here has been my favourite and is well looked after.

Luck You Kyoto features free WiFi throughout the property. very comfortable, clean, tasty, attentive & reasonably priced ryokan. the mediocre location is more than compensated for by the across-the-street onsen -- a truly authentic local experience (including the electric bath!) -- for which u receive free vouchers & the necessary supplies. we slept 4 in the spacious-enough "Premium Quadruple Room" -- of which there are 2 -- & i recommend making a special request for the downstairs option w/attached garden. enjoy!

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. I booked the room with private Onsen/bathroom and garden. It was absolutely amazing. What a beautiful and calm place. Very comfortable. Amazing food. Great experience. My room was a bit more modern with heating and lots of light and newer wood but the other rooms looked nice too, darker wood and more traditional. I think any room is worth a stay. The entire experience was special and beautiful.

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. Standing beside the Taki River, it features outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional in-room meals and is a 5-minute walk from Arima Onsen Train Station. The Japanese rooms have traditional futon bedding and a minibar. The service is very good 👍 appreciate the receptionist help to book ENT clinic for one of our friends, especially we are not fluent in Japanese.

Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. The Ryokan is absolutely astonishing, and the service provided is top-notch. My fiancé and I had an unforgettable experience and we can't thank the staff enough for making it so.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.
