The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

The staff were also very helpful and friendly; we got there after sunset and had trouble finding the place in the dark (please make plans to reach before it gets dark!), but the staff were keeping a lookout for us in the cold at the main gate. Appreciate the hospitality and effort to communicate with us even though we did not understand Japanese. The food was also exceptional! Best kaiseki we’ve had! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The 3-star ryokan is 48 km from Kagoshima Station. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and a housekeeping service. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional- couldn’t ménage full breakfast but quality was super! All staff great and the staff member looking after our stay Sarin (?) was so wonderfully caring and attentive/ - many thanks!
