We’ve stayed at many Ryokan on our trips to Japan and this was likely the best one. From the moment we arrived the staff was so kind and helpful. We got a room overlooking the river with our own private bath in the balcony. The other public baths were nice esp the outdoor one. The room was well thought out and immaculately clean. The best part was the food! Both the dinner and breakfast were kaiseki style and the presentation and flavors were amazing. The price was higher than we usually pay but it felt like a total value.

Very peaceful ryokan. Wish we could stay longer to explore the surrounding nature. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast was amazing. Staff was so attentive to our requests and took the time asking about our dietary requirements. Massage chairs available for guests to use. Loved the Indoor and outdoor public bath. Highly recommended for those who wants a luxury ryokan experience.
