It’s located 5-10 minutes from the town where there are many nice places to eat and a short walk from the main attractions. The host is amazing and he owns a coffee shop and restaraunt 5 minutes away which serves lovely coffee & breakfast. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Ryokan Yamamuro. Bungo-san and his mother were excellent hosts. The room had lots of space, and all the extras (tea, hot water, robes, etc.) made us feel right at home. The location was perfect to explore the wonderful city of Kanazawa. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Kanazawa to stay at Bungo-san's Ryokan.

Traditional Japanese hospitality at its best, lovely ryonkan not far from Kanazawa. We were travelling with ouf 8 months son and the staff did a fantastic job trying to accomodate our needs.
