The staff went above and beyond for us as a small family. The food was delicious.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. The hotel was just minutes from the port. The host was extremely helpful. Good coffee and tea available and a small area with homemade craft items for sale. The room was spacious including a balcony-like alcove looking toward the sea. The name - moon rabbit - was very fitting.

The ryokan offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. The accommodation was incredibly spacious, with multiple rooms that perfectly adhere to local traditions. Everything was meticulously maintained, and the beautiful internal garden added to the serene atmosphere. The owner was very kind, providing tea, breakfast essentials for the next morning, and a map with nearby restaurant recommendations.

Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Japanese-style hotel Mizuhasou specialises in fresh seafood and exquisitely prepared local seasonal dishes. Meals are served at the dining room. Great location , close to town and the red Tori. Spacious comfortable room, view of the forest in the back, nice building with a restaurant downstairs with excellent food. Great breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. You can leave your bags if needed. We walked from the ferry, 20-30 mns. Great bath/tubs. Everything works well.

This stay was perfect for Miyajima. The onsen in particular was delight. Amazing bath products !
