The shuttle service from the ferry terminal, the private bath (free of charge) available for timeslot bookings, and the staff were all wonderful and exceptional. Amazing views. The private bath was a welcome amenity for us as we didn't realize it was something offered without extra charge. It has two showers and a bath with adjustable temperature (add hot or cold water to adjust).

Certain rooms include an en suite bathroom. Toiletries and slippers are provided for in the private and shared bathroom. The property was located near the park within walking distance of main attractions. It was well taken care of and had an onsen. The food was great and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They added to the experience and did a great job of making us feel very welcome.

Situated in Onomichi and only 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Suminoe Ryokan features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The 3-star ryokan has garden views and is 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The ryokan features family rooms. Great place with friendly staff. Good equipments.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. The hotel was just minutes from the port. The host was extremely helpful. Good coffee and tea available and a small area with homemade craft items for sale. The room was spacious including a balcony-like alcove looking toward the sea. The name - moon rabbit - was very fitting.

The spacious ryokan is equipped with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and 1 bathroom with a bidet, slippers and a washing machine. The ryokan offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. We had this traditional house all to our selves. Despite it’s traditional look it had all the modern amenities one needs. It was clean and perfectly presented. The host was very accommodating and helped us with directions and activity suggestions. The island is magical and the house is a short walk from the center.

Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Japanese-style hotel Mizuhasou specialises in fresh seafood and exquisitely prepared local seasonal dishes. Meals are served at the dining room. It was a great stay! The staff was kind and patiently pointed out to all the amenities like the bath, breakfast choice (western or japanese) or that they offer us pajamas and slippers. The bath was definetely a highlight of our stay and a surprise as we weren't expecting it. Futons were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We have zero complains and would love to come back.

Rooms in the Annex include a private bathroom with a bath and toilet, while rooms in the historical Main Building and Cottage Annex have shared bathrooms and toilets. The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.
