Very quiet location, a great place to escape the heat, I went for a run around the village every morning and it was very relaxing. The owner and service staff were very welcoming, the breakfast was both nice and tasty, we thoroughly enjoyed the two days we were there.

Baths are like something from a dream - perfect temperature, beautiful views, the outdoor bath in the snow was particularly incredible. Staff are also extremely friendly and many native English speakers are employed for those who can’t speak Japanese.

This is the annex building of the hotel, it located at very quite neighbourhood. Very traditional japanese design, building are big and spacious, everything is clean and tidy, the onsen in the house is the best part of this building.
