JapanThe interior is a little dated and the rooms a bit retro, but it is very quiet, inexpensive, has beautiful surroundings, and a great selection of onsen. In the evening I used the outdoor onsen and enjoyed the full moon. The next morning I used the indoor and met some friendly locals.

The room is large and comfortable. There is a hot spring to soak in. The sales department in the hotel has a wide selection and you can buy many local souvenirs.

Enormous hotel with friendly and efficient staff, and a waterfall. Onson equally large. Ryokan room was very spacious with pleasant outlook. Hotel located close to lake and the included breakfast served a wide range of Asian-style foods.

Excellent Onsen as authentic hot spring with high sulfur content. Although it is a bit small. Dinner was excellent.

Location is great. Onsen is spacious. Outdoor onsen is good. Restaurant serves reasonably priced food. Nice Japanese style room with futons and yukata.

Great ryokan in a isolated lakeside town with a decent onsen. In winter it was very peaceful and quiet.
