However, the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and offered a flexible arrangement. They kindly arranged for a dinner set to be prepared for me even though I arrived later than expected. I was truly impressed by their exceptional service and attention to detail. Amazing experience at Sensatei. The value for money is amazing especially the service from the exceptional staff. I felt we were very tired and demanding guests, asking lots of questions, being a bit dramatic after lots of traveling, but they were so patient, lovely and accommodating. The view was amazing, over looking mountains and the river. I never got tired of it! The Onsen is fantastic as well. Over the 4 days we were there, i went 4 times! Worth the stay and will make the track from Australia again!

it was the best experience for me to stay in this beautiful ryokan. the staff is very nice try to explain everything in english. they also provide yukata to wear. the food is very delicious. everything is exceed my expectation. also they send us to terminal bus by car, because there is a heavy snowfall.

We had an excellent stay, food and presentations were exquisite. We admired the thought that went into presenting food in dishes that are compatible with the “mood” of the food. Only 5 minutes walk to the lift. Staff were professional, rooms were comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
