As soon as I arrived here, I knew I was going to love it and I really did. Being surrounded by wood and nature is truly happy making. The staff were incredible and very attentive to my needs. Loved the onsens, both indoor and outdoor, especially the apples bobbing around in the indoor onsen. The outdoor onsen was a breathtaking experience. You do have to work for it, especially with all the steps but so worth it when you get there. Then there’s the food.. just exquisite. My plan originally didn’t include this, so I called them from home and they were able to accommodate me. Initially, I found this ryokan on chat gpt as I wanted to learn how to make soba. The workshop was a fun experience, there’s a soba restaurant on the premises and you get to eat it after you make it.
