The room is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful and gave us great recommendations for dinner. There was a sink and a mirror in the room, so sharing the bathroom wasn't a big deal.

Amazing and cozy common areas. Super clean kitchen, with all the utensils you can think of. Capsule-Rooms were comfortable, clean, had privacy. The bath and the onsen was super nice and clean. Beautiful and easy hiking trails around the guesthouse. Busstop right in front. Staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Will return for sure.

amazing experience. worth every penny. Very immersive, beautiful stay! Loved the in-room spa, loved the japanese woman serving us food in our room. the calming view onto the perfectly manicured gardens. the spa bath had great scenic views but was totally secluded. We had the spa to our selves. the food was amazing, dinner and breakfast. the location. the owner drove us to the train station without us having to ask. it was the perfect relaxing end to an otherwise full on holiday.

The best food I have ever had and the staff were amazing. They saw on my passport that my birthday was in a few days and gave me dessert with happy birthday on it which was really nice. They saw room is great and I love you can change the temperature of the Onsen so you can stay in it longer.

Delicious and beautifully presented kaiseki dinner and breakfast! So so good. The owner was also really sweet :) the ‘rotating’ onsen was amazing, especially the small one outdoors (one days its for women and another day for men!)

Thank you for this extraordinary break. Really exotic in every way in this traditional establishment from 1890. We slept in futons, wore yukata. During our one-night stay, we were able to book a private bath twice, once in the late afternoon and a second time in the morning, at no additional cost. The setting is magnificent. In an interior courtyard you can see koi carps and calm waterflow. Near the windows of our room, a forest with a waterfall, making a perfect sound ambiance to sleep well. The service was exceptional. The staff was very attentive and asked very specific questions about our special diets and preference so that the dining experience was the best possible. The staff also offers good advice on the surrounding area and travel logistics.
