This felt like less of a hotel stay and more of an experience as a whole. If you are exploring Nara I would recommend taking at least a day to just enjoy this hotel stay. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who helped us with every little thing, from taking our luggage to ordering a taxi for our departure. We were served luxurious meals for dinner and breakfast in our room, by staff who set our table and made our bed. The location was magical with beautiful nature and deers roaming around outside. They had an amazing natural hot spring bath as well. Would warmly recommend this place.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk.

Thank you very much for the kind welcome! We really enjoyed our stay here, the beds were particularly comfortable and we adored the kotatsu, looking into buying one in the future hahaha. The breakfast was fab, really appreciated the more traditional Japanese breakfast! Also thanks so much for bringing us our forgotten items after we had left for a few minutes, our forgetful selves are very appreciative! :)

The dinner and breakfast were so delicious. The japanese room was spacious and beautiful. The outdoor area of the onsen with garden was stunning. The location was fantastic right next to Nara park, a subway station, and a shopping street. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

In the middle of Nara's country park, find a piece of heaven, disconnect from the busy world and enjoy a unique Ryokan experience. Don't expect any fancy facilites but reconnect with the nature and silence. All the staff are really nice and the food is excellent. a once in a lifetime experience, to be repeated.

It was an absolutely an amazing experience to stay at Tsubakiso. They were really kind and helpful with everything during our stay even we were spoiled with some snacks and breakfast even though we booked the room without the breakfast option:)

This place was perfect. The room was lovely. It's properly traditional, and the hot spring bath was one of the highlights of my day. Wish I could of stayed there longer.
