We were two family of 4, there was more than enough space and amenities were great, quiet location but walking distance to beach, sites and close to local tram. Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one!

Great value for money. Hotel did not mention officially in the description, but they did offer a lot to us (1) a fixed set of limited free breakfast with a short service time; (2) free bath in a large room on the third floor by a reservation; (3) free rental of sandle (beach shoe) to go to the beach; (4) room with a sea view; (5) optionally room cleaning services There are great restaurants and FamilyMart near the hotel, and we only need to go across the road to get to the beach to play sands. It is easy to get to the subway station and Enoshima (the island) from the hotel.

Good price and quality ratio for experiencing japan style hotel. Even though reseptionist did not speak english there was no problem whith comunication as she used google translate to explain. They had separate private bath that could be reserved the same day and it was included in price. Also welcoming tea was really good.

The service was very friendly, they can speak some English as well :) The view on the ocean with Mt. Fuji in the distance was just amazing (but we were told that it is rare to see the mountain from here). Dinner was brought in our room and we got an explanation for the food, it tasted delicious. Breakfast is in the Hotels restaurant. I was a little sceptical because of some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised, the Ryokan is really a very high quality hotel. The roman and cave onsen are nice, they switch times for women/men. The location is great, you need to bring your luggage some meters through a crowded street but afterwards you are just some minutes from the main attractions of the island. Thus we went up the hill in daylight and in the evening again to see the lights from the Sea Candle. Highly recommend, would come again!

very traditional place, with all traditional amenities expected (futon, tatami, tea set, onsen, ...) ; superb dinner and breakfast, served in the close-by restaurant (set menu), incredible quality for a little price; position is 10/10, everything interesting to visit is at walkable distance, also there is a supermarket in front

I loved a lot about this place. I had never slept on a traditional Japanese futon before so I was a bit apprehensive but found it to be very comfortable. The private onsen was amazing too and a great way to relax after running around Enoshima all day. I really loved the breakfast too, it was amazing! The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet; the only sounds I really heard at night were the sounds of the train going by. Overall a really lovely place to stay and one I would book again.

Coming back to Japan after some years, it was a perfect "welcome back" stay for the first night: Tatami room, futons, shared hot spring bath, japanese breakfast included, small downtown area with a few restaurants. It was just a few minutes walk from the Enoshima Dentetsu railway that runs on the Ryokan's road.

A one day trip stay-in. The hotel is located at the back street, not very far from the main street, so it is very quite during the night. There is an inside hot spring you can enjoy after you shower. The room is quite janpanese, with tatami and japanese ukata. Definitely a good place to stay if you want to experience the Japanese culture.
