It was a fantastic, truly authentic place to stay. My partner and I were hesitant as we'd never been to Japan or stayed in a ryokan, however the old wood had the aroma of a sauna, the beds were comfy, the lighting, decoration and interior design were all fantastic. Would highly recommend to everyone.

The location was excellent for us. the owner help us allowing us to leave our luggage before checking time. language was a bit a problem but we managed satisfactory. bedsheets were clean. Bathroom a bit small but for one night was okay.

Location is great, walking distance to the dome, castle and the museum of arts. I have known the family at the Ryokan for 23 years now. It is always a delight to stay there. Arigatou.

Nice and cute Service (they really try their best to communicate, it was very nice!) Good japanese Breakfast Spacious Tatami Room Comfortable Futon Beds (if you like to sleep a little bit firmer) Air-conditioned Small fridge inside the room They store your luggage on the last day if you still want to see some things (They even stored my medicine in the fridge!) We will come again if visiting Hiroshima again :)

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel.

Amazing experience in a traditional style with a modern comfort. The hotel is located in a quiet place ~20 mins walk from the ferry port. It may sound far but the hotel provides the shuttle bus as often as you need. We were prepared for the ryokan rules about the shoes, so it wasn’t a surprise for us. The traditional room is very beautiful, clean, looks better in real life than on the pictures. Nice view from the window, I even saw an eagle on the tree. The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful. Usually the staff set up the bed after the dinner but they set it up for me when I asked for a day nap. The dinner and breakfast servings is extraordinarily. Nice choice of exclusive souvenirs, especially loved the Momiji manju cookies, the ones from the hotel are MUCH better than the ones from the shopping street. In general, I highly recommend to stay here at least for 1-2 night for better exploration of Miyajima without rush.

Our room was spacious and very authentic Japanese while also being very comfortable. The view over the bay was amazing. The dining experience was unforgettable and our dietary requirements (vegetarian) were perfectly catered too. The private bath was also a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even by Japanese standards. Overall, we were sad that we only booked one night here.
