The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. The food is some of the best Washoku I have had in a long long time. The room had a massive double king bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. The private onsen was also so amazing. Apparently, one of the taxi drivers my partner and I took mentioned that Emperor Hirohito back in Showa 1954 had apparently stayed at this location many years ago. That should pretty much describe how amazing this place is.

Ichinomatsu is a traditional ryokan with a hot spring bath. I love the atmosphere in this type of lodging - very relaxing and with people ready to take care of the logistics around you. Breakfast and dinner served to perfection in your room. Short stroll to a big bath for the guests - perfectly maintained. View to a small japanese style garden. Very relaxing two days.

Wonderful food and superb facilities. The hot spring bathing was so relaxing! The staff were friendly and professional. I came away feeling totally refreshed and relaxed.

The hotel was walking distance from the tram station, and it was easy to find the location. The breakfast spread and dinner provided was just amazing. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The futons provided were comfortable, and I enjoyed the onsen bath so much. The staff who served us greeted us warmly and she explained everything to us in detail.
