The hotel is situated in front of Enoshima Island. We choose beach-view where u can see Koshigoe Beach and Enoshima Island which is very nice view. Our room had included free breakfast. Their staffs are friendly and able to speak English. the most we loved will be their coffee house! unlimited coffee machine & ice machine. We really recommend this hotel if you choose to travel to Enoshima or Kamakura.

We loved the traditional Japanese feel of accomodation whilst having an abundance of modern amenities (bathroom amenities, replacement towels and bottled water, hairdryer, curler and straightener, coffee and kettle, mini fridge). The accommodation was very clean and well maintained and our party of 4 (two adults and two teenage boys) enjoyed being the only guests. Use of the sauna was lovely of an evening during the winter and having breakfast included in the lovely modern restaurant downstairs was a great - the choice of either western or Japanese breakfast suited out teenage boys and both options were lovely. The location is close to the local electric rail station and walking distance to an abundance of cafe’s, restaurants and shops as well as the Great Buddha, Hasedera Temple, Goryo Shrine and of course the beach. We loved being immersed in the local neighbourhood whilst being so close to all of the above. The staff were all friendly and attentive would we highly recommend this accommodation.

The authentic interiors and rooms are fantastic! The stuning view from the room on B1 floor let us enjoy the Fuji in the morning. The hotel provides everything you need including tea set and yukata for baths. Both baths are nice and clean.

The size of a room was huuuuge! Like, 24 tatami's or so. A view was amazing, and a place to enjoy it was amazing.

Situated just a 3-minute walk from popular Enoshima Beach, Kakiya Ryokan is Japanese-style accommodation attached to a historic restaurant specialising in Shirasu fish meals.

The place is very comfy. If you are searching for real Japanese experience, I am recommending it. The price/quality ratio was top notch. Really friendly staff and delucious meals. Be aware that it isn't 5 star hotel so don't expect fireworks :) I really enjoyed my stay there over Christmas time. It is very close to Enoshima island and shonan beach with iconic train pass from Slam Dunk anime. If I ever will be around again I will be staying in this place :)

The hotel was wonderful, we couldn‘t wish for more. The staff was very attentive and helped us with everything. They even picked us up and brought us back to the train station and drove us to a nearby sightseeing spot without extra charge. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!
