Probably the best hotel we ever stayed in. Outstanding view, staff goes above and beyond and the food was such high quality & beautifully arranged! We had breakfast and dinner (Kaiseki) twice and both was plenty (dinner around 7 courses?). We advise on coming hungry!

Food, staff, and location. The hotel is not far from the JR station, and it is convenient for people not driving. Staff is nice and attentive to detail. The food, especially the grilled fish, is delicious. This boutique hotel is valued for money given that two private onsen rooms are offered for all guests. Great location, close to everything , very convenient from the train station, beautiful and traditional ryokan, with a lovely sea view room. The staff was very considerate and helpful , a big thank you ! The welcome matcha tea and wagashi, was a delicate attention , we loved it ! The food was absolutely incredible. Dinner and breakfast were served in our room and it was amazing, traditional Japanese food. Miho, who was assigned to our room, was kind and spoke English much better than I expected (they had warned us not much of their staff spoke at all, so I was expecting a more difficult time communicating). The private onsen was amazing and so soothing. There were a lot of booklets and things in English to help explain how to use the public onsen and the rules and ettiquette, which was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and accomodating. I can't recommend this place enough. It's gorgeous.

Talk about a vibey place, very comfortable and large rooms with great views from the outdoor baths. The ryokan itself has a charm to it that makes it fun to walk through in the late hours as well. The food was good but unfortunately my fiance had a stomach bug and couldn't partake as much in the meals, but they were very supportive and understanding of the situation.

Our special thanks goes to the very nice male staff who render his efficient services in table-setting for the many dishes of traditional Japanese cuisines, both for dinner and breakfast. He guided us the unique flavors of each type of food and the best way of eating with various sauces and condiments. He took the initiative to give us pamphlets about the sight-seeing spots nearby. We took his advice and did another hour of touring to learn more about Atami. It was a very hospitable and warming journey we had had with this hotel. Thank you for the very kind services of all the dedicated staff as well.

The hotel has a foreign English speaking staff. He is very friendly and helpful. Especially he can clearly guide me to the carpark and how to use the shortcut to come back to the hotel. He also brief me the check-in details which is very clear. The hotel also has shuttle van to transfer hotel guest to the carpark. Although the hotel is not next to the beach, it only takes 5-10 minutes walk to the beach to watch fireworks. The hotel location is more near to the train station and the shopping street, which is very good. Many restaurants nearby. Breakfast is good. You can make your own sashimi rice bowl. Very delicious. The room is big with sea view.

However we loved the trip back in time to a sleepy onsen town The banquet for one dinner and one breakfast was outstanding. We made the most of the Atami area and having lived in Japan it made everything easier

This is almost a ryokan style place. Very Japanese, with tatami room and older Japanese style bathroom, bathroom and toilet were separated. Staff was very friendly and caring, they don't speak English and basic Japanese is very helpful here, though I would say it could be handled even without knowing a word in Japanese. This place is close to the train station (5-7 min walking), provides a simple breakfast (tea/coffee and croissant), we've also received some cookies on the check-out.
