Set in Paarl, 2.8 km from Boschenmeer Golf Course, Laborie Estate offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Located around 28 km from Stellenbosch University, the hotel with free WiFi is also 35 km away from Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. Some units at the property feature a patio with a mountain view. Breakfast was great as was the location and facilities although I did not get to experience much. Checked in, in the afternoon and left for a function at 18h00. Back at midnight and out before 10h00. Rates are on the less affordable side for the standard South African, although I do understand this is peak season.

An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing and hiking. Facilities and activities were amazing. Rooms were small but well equipped, the outdoor space and shared living space was perfect. Everyone who works at the farm is so welcoming and helpful.

The surrounding area is well-known for hosting a number of wine estates. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the hosts made us feel so welcomed.

The boutique hotel exudes charm and elegance, with beautifully designed rooms that offer both comfort and luxury. The tranquil garden and pool area provided the perfect escape, leaving us feeling completely relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of.
