A cable, flat-screen TV is included in each room at Drury Inn and Suites Austin North. The staff was exeptionally friendly, we felt so welcome when we arrived there after a long flight. Also the staff was extremely helpful, when we had some issues, which had to be solved by phone but our mobile phone didn´t work in the United States. (Many thanks especially to Jack who was so extremely helpful and patient but also to all of the other staff!!!) The room was perfect with very comfortable beds / mattresses (usually hotel beds are very hard, but at Drury Inns the beds are soft and at the same time very supporting). Breakfast choices were perfect, we especially enjoyed the buttermilk biscuits and the grits. At night there was a dinner with great choices (also with some healthy ones like salad, vegetables, potatoes). There were free soft drinks and tea/coffee at all times and there was a popcorn machine (our kids loved it!). There also was a nice pool. The location was good, everything was easy to reach from there. This was the first time we stayed at a Drury Inn. After that positive experience we stayed at other Drury Inns several times along our road trip afterwards. The Drury Inn has become our favorite hotel brand! If we come back to Austin, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!

We were early to check in but Maria helped find a room so we could go ahead and register and get in the room. Also the value was enhanced by the wonderful breakfast buffet on Sunday morning.

This 4-star hotel is located in the center of downtown San Antonio right along the River Walk. This luxury hotel features a tropical courtyard with outdoor pool and a restaurant.

Every guest room at the Omni La Mansion del Rio offers views of the courtyard, River walk or city. The spacious rooms are furnished with a marble bathroom and 49-inch flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a balcony. Other amenities include an in-room safe and a minibar. We chose La Mansión del Rio because it is situated right in the heart of town on the River Walk and it looked good on the booking website. Everything positive we read is thoroughly justified, and that includes the staff in particular. We will certainly book La Mansión del Rio again on a future occasion, and we recommend it to everybody visiting the fantastic town of San Antonio.
