The room was extremely clean, check in was easy, staff interactions were pleasant, spacious room, the hot tub was extremely nice. I can only recommend. There was an issue overnight, nothing to do with the hotel, but it was addressed immediately. Someone was working on a motorcycle or car for over an hour starting at midnight. Being extremely loud and revving the engine. I called the front desk, they immediately went out and stopped the guy.

Located in historic Central Beaufort less than 1 mile from the Waterfront Park, this Inn offers a daily homemade breakfast. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of coffee. Air conditioning and fan. Particularly liked sitting out on the balcony in evening with glass of wine, cheese crackers and nuts. Location close to town for restaurants and shops.

The Barksdale House Inn was beautiful, loved the heritage decor and styling. So glad this is where we chose to stay, it felt very unique and special. It was well located to walk to the Historic area and surrounding restaurants. The breakfast was made to order and they were able to cater to my gluten free requirements. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
