It is a short stroll from Sai Kaew Beach, as well as various restaurants, bars and a 24-hour convenience store. The island's main pier is a 5-minute ride away. Great location, only 3 min from main beach. Good snorkeling just of the little beach by the hotel (only morning sun). Lots of corals, but not great visibility. If you like snorkeling, go when tide is low. Really quiet and nice view, especially if you’re in one of the cabins closer to the sea (we were in number 10, but ask for number 8 if you want the cabin closest to the sea with the nicest view. Number 1 and 2 (I think it was) are attached).

Brown Cabin Chocolate Cafe is the place for chocolate lovers serving a variety of chocolate drinks. Situated among the lush tropical woods and rose garden, this hidden cafe is known to be one of Baan Ploy Sea's most instagrammable spots. Apart from various chocolate drinks, the cafe serves up barista coffees, herbal cold brew teas, and freshly baked desserts for cafe hoppers to enjoy. Nice hotel with spacious, well-equipped rooms. Very nice and helpful staff. With a seaside location.

The units in the inn are fitted with a kettle. All units in Blue Moon Samed are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. Location is very close to the pier but is tucked away in a quiet block so it was very quiet at night. The apartment was good enough for my family of 7. There were 2 ensuite rooms with double beds and 2 single beds with 3 sofa beds in the living room. It's also a short walk to the main beach area. There's a big fridge and a kitchen area with microwave, kettle, steamer and plates, glasses, cups and cutlery.

Guests can sample fine International and Asian dishes at GrandBlue Restaurant which is adjacent to a large outdoor pool on site. Very clean, really good pool, quiet, right next to the beach. Breakfast was good and staff were lovely.

Boasting a beachfront restaurant and private Thai-style bungalows with rich wooden interiors, Tubtim Resort is situated on the white and sandy Tubtim Beach of Ko Samed. During the stay, guests have access to free WiFi in all areas. AMAZING location. Not too crowded, it was actually one of my fave beaches after going to all of them lol, the cabins were adorable, amazing aircon after a long hot day. Overall totally recommend.

This guest house features a daily housekeeping service for added convenience. It was perfect it was quiet and it was away from the hustle bustle of the beaches on the other side of the island it’s own private beach was great Mark and Minnie were perfect hosts we would have liked to say another 2 nights but they were fully booked which no surprise , would recommend Minnie Seaview to any one

The resort is a 10-minute drive to Sai Keaw Beach, Ao Prao Beach and Nah Dan Pier. It is a 1.5-hr drive from Pattaya and 2.5-hr drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Bangkok is a 3-hr drive away. The resort was a friendly spot right on the beach. The staff were all lovely and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. The beach was super safe for swimming and lively without being a party spot.
