Although the sand may not be as stunning as on the other (west) side of Ko Chang, we loved this (east) side way better, as you are off the beaten track. The owner Simon and his staff do everything to make you feel welcome, and arranged even our 5,5h transfer from BKK airport to the hotel, at more than reasonable price. This was a perfect start for our 3 month trip to SEA for us.

As close to the sea as you can get, you can see the sea from your own bed :) Lots of glass sections connecting the room to the beach, open bathroom, mosquito net (although we didn't see any insects at all). During the day there were some people on the beach on the sun loungers, but in the morning and evening there were few people, a quiet place.

Also the activities offered by the resort were nice and gave a personal touch to our already overall very positive experience. On the last evening we were able to celebrate Loy Krathong and sent off little floats made out of ice to the sea…
