Most guest rooms feature sea views. All have private bathrooms, which include a shower. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen and luggage storage. This is a charming place right on the water. Beautiful views over the harbor to different rocky outcroppings. The breakfast was very good, available in a nice eating area with fresh bread and many other items. The bedroom was small but very comfortable and the shared kitchen was quite functional. The host staff was really pleasant and helpful, good interactions. We enjoyed walks along the seashore and in the area. We would return and would recommend Everts to others.

Breakfast is almost completely made in-house og locally and is really delicious! The very friendly house Cat greeted us and kept us company on our walks !

Apelvikstrand Strandhus offers modern, self-catering holiday homes next to Apelvik Beach, 3 km south of central Varberg. Each accommodation has a furnished patio, kitchenette and flat-screen TV. Varberg Fortress is 3.2 km away. There was really nothing not to like. I did experience a little difficult checking in as it was late and dark, and signage leaves a little to be desired. I have to take partial blame though, as if I had read my emails properly I would have realised there was an app to download that helped matters. The cottages are unpretentious but very nice, the location is unbeatable if scenery is your preference, and I had the good fortune to visit in the off-season making my stay great value. I fully expect the prices to be dramatically different in the high season though.

This B&B is located in a historical fortress in Varberg. The accommodation is set in what once was a bakery, hospital and prison. The fortress faces the North Sea and the property features both regular rooms and converted cell rooms. The staff were very accomodating, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast spread was the best of our 5 week holiday with lots of different options (including GF and vegan). The view from our room was very nice, it was special being inside the fortress, which is one of the highlights of the town.

It is a 3 star hotel which is far better to stay at than some 5 stars. They even have hair conditioner.
