Set in a building from 1895, Stora Hotellet's individually decorated guest rooms all offer views over the town and river. Each has ironing facilities and a safe. The location was very convenient. Everything was easily accessible by walking - shopping, restaurants, bus and train stations. The breakfast was exceptional. The hours were reasonable, the selection was great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel was great. It was an older building, but obviously had been completely updated, so it had a lot of character but was very comfortable. The eating area was in a large glass covered courtyard that really added to the experience.

They even had upgraded my room from no-windows to having a window - and the view was also great. Room was super nice and quiet. Also, free sauna was just perfect as well. Very nice breakfast as well.
