Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Owner is very nice and she cooks very well! Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfy! We had a nice ocean view!

Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. Central location, overall vibe and beds were very comfy. We had a courtyard/shopping mall interior room which was very quiet. Pool was cool.

Great location with amazing view. Very spacious room with tea & coffee facilities and a fridge. The host family accommodated all guests like family members. Provided with advices what to visit in accordance with weather and wishes. There is also respect of privacy. Breakfast was always freshly cooked. Fresh fruits just picked from gardens. The place easy to find following google map. The host also helps advising how to get there. Good restaurant with local good food a few steps away. Nice swimming pool, not heated but nice to get fresh after adventured day. When I back to Madeira I will not look for other place. Thank you for making my holiday perfect.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Quinta das Malvas - Quinta de Santa Luzia offers accommodation in Funchal. Free private parking is available on site. very welcoming, warm and cozy stay, super comfortable beds, beautiful garden area with nice view, delicious breakfast, super friendly staff. Great that we had the option to use a fridge and kitchen. Location is also great, close to the city. Free parking available. I can definitely recommend it.
