Daniel at the reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival. He would immediately respond and truly went above and beyond! The entire staff at the hotel was superb! We had an incredible experience and treated us like royalty. Highly recommend.

Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. very good hotel and service , good breakfast , good food in restaurant , very flexible they can make for you upon request , defently recommended

Quinta de S.Bernardo - Winery & Farmhouse is offering accommodation in Mesão Frio. Among the various facilities are a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared lounge. ‎‏There are no words to describe the experience we had! It was the highlight of our trip. We stayed for 3 nights. Amazing room with all the facilities you can think about, super clean, and has a breathtaking view of the Douro River. The food is excellent, everything is simply delicious and fresh, farm-to-table. The wine is fabulous. We also did a great massage in the spa. The staff is amazing, helps with everything, lovely and kind. We are waiting for the next time!

Everything was amazing. The host and staff are great. Very welcoming. The villa is beautiful, clean and maintained very well. We took our 6 month old on her first vacation in Portugal and we definitely recommend it! Rental car is not necessarily a must because they can provide transportation services, but it makes things a lot more accessible.
