Was great to be surrounded by nature and serenity. Such a beautiful rural location. The host was friendly, approachable and attentive too. food and drink was included and it was filling. The property was stunning and the host invited us to explore and visit the native community which offered an indepth insight into the history and logistics as well. I booked accommodation and in hindsight realised i have also purchased great memories that will last a lifetime. Many thanks again to the host, the hospitality was warm, exceptional and genuine. We hope to the floating islands again one day.

"A Sunset Experience on the shores of Lake Titicaca". Excellent location on Lake Titicaca. Very good comfy hotel. Room had a great view of the lake. Breakfast spread a pretty good. The staff was friendly. The lunch & dinner options at the restaurant were very good. The hotel had transfer option from/to Puno Railway Station and Juliaca Airport, and the service is very good. We took the private tour of Lake Titicaca from the hotel. It was a wonderful experience and the guide Kevin was very knowledgeable. The tour operated from the private jetty of the hotel and was very convenient.

Taypikala Hotel Lago boasts recently refurbished Colonial style galleries and a spacious lobby with interior plants, polished parquet floors and elegant cream-coloured sofas. Had a really nice stay here. The staff were great. Not very busy when we were here. Good value. Great location.
