We stayed in room 5 - this was so spacious with 2 beds, dining table and full longe. The best part was the large glass sliding doors leading out to a private deck overlooking a lovely garden and play area. Very relaxing spot for to have a drink and read a book. Friendly staff. Washing machine and dryer available for guests. Kitchen facilities to cook if needed.

There is a restaurant, café and a bar on site. Guests can explore the coastal walking tracks or go kayaking and fishing nearby. It's amazing to see a telling a place like this, food was terrific, and Wi-Fi was great. Staff was very welcoming. The entire place was beautiful. A bit expensive but in a place like this I wouldn't expect a hotel.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. It offers two Studio Rooms with En Suite within the Historical House and two Self Contained Cottages. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, with beautiful design throughout. The garden around the house is incredibly beautiful, truly special. There is also a trampoline and a children’s playhouse with a slide, which was great for kids. We really enjoyed our stay here. The town is very charming, and we wished we had stayed longer.
