We had an incredible stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel! Every staff member, from the manager to the driver, security guard, waiter, and bar staff, went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Special thanks to Dipesh and his friend (sorry, I forgot his name)—their genuine care and attention to detail made us feel truly special. The beautifully designed rooms and cozy atmosphere exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for exceptional service, this is the place. Can’t wait to return!

Hotel is located in the heart of touristic area, about 10 min walk from Durbar square. A lot of shops and places to eat in the area. Very cosy boutique hotel, designed in authentic nepali style with carved dark wooden windows, furniture and even lamps in shape of stupas. Rooms are comfortable, decent size, and very clean. AC in the rooms. Elevator is available. Nice breakfast with selections of bread, coffee, eggs, fruits and pastry. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Manager Prabin have arranged my itinerary for the full stay - including city tour in Kathmandu, a trip to Pokhara with flights, stay and city sightseeing, and trekking tour. Everything was done with exceptional attention to details and care.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The garden Rooms are an oasis. Breakfast is great. Staff outstanding and very trustworthy. Allowed generous late check out. Even later for a low fee! Reasonably close to the airline so quick drive. Does mean you can hear the planes. But I’m a light sleeper and they seem to not fly over at night.

The atmosphere here is great. So comfortable and quiet and relaxing. Room is clean. Hot water is good. Staffs are so friendly. There are different kinds of restaurants and small shops like fruits, flower shops nearby. And the a-m-a-z-ing Saturday Market is just here.

Karma Boutique Hotel is set in the Thamel district in Kathmandu, 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka. Guests are offered the on-site restaurant. Everything was great and it was my second time in Karma Boutique Hotel .
