Our stay at Oasis Kathmandu was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of a family. The staff was incredibly friendly, always attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our experience truly special. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with comfortable and well-maintained rooms that provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The restaurant was outstanding, offering delicious, perfectly prepared meals that exceeded our expectations every time. And the location? Absolutely ideal! Nestled close to the city center, the hotel is just a 15-minute walk to Durbar Square, and the route takes you right through a vibrant bazaar—the perfect chance to pick up unique gifts and souvenirs while soaking in the lively atmosphere of the Thamel quarter. This area is a dream for backpackers, with its charming streets, hidden gems, and rooftop restaurants offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains. One of the highlights of our trip was a Himalayan exploration tour that the hotel staff arranged for us. The price was reasonable, and we spent a whole day hiking in the hills, getting closer to the majestic mountains we had longed to see. It was exactly what we were looking for, and we truly appreciated how effortlessly they helped make it happen. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel welcome, comfortable, and have the opportunity to explore Nepal in the best way possible, Oasis Kathmandu is the perfect choice!

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. We had great stay. Rooms specious, location is perfect, only 8 minutes to Stupa. Quite neighborhood. Hotel and rooms very clean. Breakfast delicious and service during breakfast 5 star.

We had a great stay at The Museum during a return trip to Kathmandu. Saroj and Prakash were courteous and helpful from start to finish. They arranged airport pick up and took care of our every need during our 16 night stay. It was like staying with family, relaxed and homey. Our room had all the facilities we needed including a small kitchen, large water bottle (good to avoid lots of smaller plastic bottles) and a very comfortable bed. The location was excellent for easily getting around the city. Having Le Sherpa restaurant, Hokkaido Japanese restaurant and a super coffee shop right at our door was also a bonus. Saroj even bought us coffee on our final morning as we packed our bags. Thank you Saroj and Prakash. for such a lovely stay. We felt very cared for and hope to see you next time.
