Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. We ended up being upgraded to a waterfront cabin but regardless of where you stay in Reine the scenery there is absolutely gorgeous. We even caught the aurora!

Svinøya Rorbuer provides tea/coffee facilities, a fridge and stove with oven. Some of the cottages and apartments also include a fireplace, balcony and private sauna. We got an upgrade to a waterfront house for a reasonable price. The house was amazing, clean, spacious, and well-equipped. It's a perfect place for watching the northern lights if you're lucky enough to have nice weather.

The Lofot Aquarium is a 3-minute walk away. Fantastic location, we appreciated the silence and the view. Breakfast is also very good.

The staff can help arrange activities like golf, fishing and boat trips. Bowling is located in the center of Svolvar. Relaxation options include a sauna Perfect for our one night stay. We needed to leave before breakfast so the staff packed us to-go meals. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in Norway. Would definitely stay here again.

An other choice is to rent a the whole Luxury lodge, or a guestroom with a private bathroom in this lodge. Guestrooms in the Luxury lodge share the kitchen facilities. Towels and bed linen are provided. Location for aurora is perfect. Amazing view, design of the lodge, full equipt lodge, kitchen, washing machine.

So yes, it is indeed as amazing as it looks!! I ll write here what you maybe do not see in the photos, which is how friendly and accommodating the staff is!!! The Slovakian girl we were welcomed by when we checked in (unfortunately I dont remember her name) was so friendly and helpful actively showing us e.g. apps with northern lights radar etc. And then during breakfast we were approached by Roland who is organising the outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with him and learnt a lot about the place and habits. He gave us tips about where to drive, what to see etc. I full regret not having booked a kayak tour or something but for sure we will do so next time. We will come back to Lofoten both in winter and in the summer and we will look no further for our accomodation that Hattvike Lodge.

Super cosy room and a separate guest area with picture window. You could just sit there for hours watching the kittiwakes. Staff were totally wonderful. Food exceptional. Wish we could stay longer

Unstad Arctic Resort is located in Unnstad and offers a surf school, free bikes and a restaurant. We had the "penthouse" with the outdoor jacuzzi, which we never use. The view was beautifull, we saw the poor sheeps freezing in the night.
