The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. The interior has been very nicely designed while keeping the classic exterior appearance of the fishing village. The soft furnishings really make it feel like a home. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare simple meals easily. Nice view of the water too.

In fact, you don't have to walk very far to see the Northern Lights. There are areas around the Rorbuer that's less than 3 minutes away that is dark enough to see the lights. Very modern and clean interior.

The Lofot Aquarium is a 3-minute walk away. Such an amazing hotel! Our rorbuer was beautiful inside. Everything so well thought. And the breakfast was great! Such a unique location on the fjord. Loved it!

Gorgeous views all around! Lovely resort by the water on a sort of warf/dock. It’s very nice to walk around through all the buildings and soak in the views. We also very much enjoyed the resto right within the resort!

Toppøy Rorbuer offers seaside accommodation, 4 km from the scenic Reine village in the Lofoten archipelago. All units have a well-equipped kitchenette and some units have a private terrace with view of the Reine Fjord. Awesome place! Great view from the bedroom and balcony. Very spacious for 1, 2, or 3 persons. I was by myself, but there is an extra couch in the dining room if needed. The balcony was the greatest spot for photographing the Aurora, and that tiny island you can use it for other angles of Aurora, but for the landmark mounting in front of you, the balcony is the best - also sunrise, sunset photos of the landmark mountain. Great Lofoten map in the dining room and an amazing old stylish boat hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom are a great bonus!
