Groningen is not only a lively student city but also a beautiful city to visit. We saw some not good views and were doubtful. But, we loved this hotel. It is old-styled, has big rooms, and jacuzzi which was working. It wasn’t hot because of the rain. The hotel is located in the city center, there are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. The room was clean, had couple chairs and sofas, comfortable and soft bed, a lot of pillows. Also wifi was working good. We enjoyed it.

Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Westerbroek is located a 5-minute car ride from Groningen and next to a beautiful natural area. The hotel offers free parking. The sunshine suite exceeded my expectations! Very clean, very luxurious, and the room is exactly as shown. The staff are highly professional. I requested the party package and it stayed as a surprise as they ensure not to mention it at check in.
