It's a nice little homestay tucked away from the strip. It truly is a 5 min walk from Lion Roc, so great location. The major point is that it's run by two lovely people. The owner offered to take me to Pidurangula at 4.30am because it was too far to walk. Then he cooked an incredible breakfast. Such a great place. I'd recommend it to everyone

The place is 50m away from all the street noise, almost makes you feel in the middle of the jungle. the room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. Saman even helped us to arrange a Safari with another couple, so the price was lower than anywhere else. We saw several elephants and birds in the tour, too.

The owner Dinusha is very kind, the staff is honest and good, Sunshine Villa really made Sigiriya a beautiful destination. They picked us up at Colombo airport and picked us up safely. In the evening they took us to see elephants at Minneriya National Park. They also had a night safari planned to see the night beauty of Sigiriya. Luckily for us, Sunshine Villa was the place to stay. We had a great experience. I recommend it 100%.
