It is extremely cozy, well thought out, and boutique style. All the amenities are great. Free breakfast was amazing a delicious soup, french bread, juice , coffee/tea. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and they offer free wine. Wifi worked great, hot water and great tub , good pillows, etc etc. All the staff was very sweet/helpful. I added nights and was able to smoothly move over in the morning to the new room. Hot chocolate on arrival is also a nice touch. I saw people comment on the warm rooms- you can easily open a window to cool off if needed. Heat is definitely a commodity here .

The breakfast provided was very good and the communal dining area was warm and inviting with a fire burning. The whole building was warm, well lit and very clean. Excellent ski drying room. The Prince Furano Ropeway ski lift was only 1.4km away which we drove to. The Japanese bath was a real bonus to use at the end of a hard days skiing. Joon was a generous and friendly host.

Ki Niseko is ideally located less than 100metres from the high-speed gondola at Niseko Mt Resort Grand Hirafu. It boasts perfect ski-in ski-out access and ski storage, as well as indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. All I can say is WOW. When I arrived, we were welcomed with smiling faces. Then they brought our luggages to the room while we were checking in. They also gave us welcome cookies, how nice! It wasn't just that - they were so helpful with all our little whims. For example, I brought bulky clothes because it's winter, so I had to vacuum seal all of them in a jumbo plastic bag. I called the front desk to ask for help, 1 minute later, they arrived with a vacuum and helped me seal it. Another special thing to note is their complimentary private onsen!!!! Waaah! It looked very nice. Unfortunately when I booked, I wasn't sick, but I caught colds, so I had to cancel. Their buffet breakfast is also great. A lot of their staff are on working holiday visas, so there's no language barrier here. They're all smiling faces everywhere. Made our stay so much easier and better. The room is SPECTACULAR. It's got a laundry and dryer in one. And if you have more stuff to wash, they have one at the end of the hallway too. Love it. I would come here again.

The lodge also houses a games room, drinks vending machines and free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed for 7 nights and Great value. Room was very clean and always warm.

Delicately prepared Japanese meals are offered. Everything from the check in experience, the food, the service. It was winter solstice and they prepared yuzu bath for good luck. They also clean your shoes as they keep them.

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Otaru Geihinkan is a recently renovated ryokan set in Otaru, 8.6 km from Otaru Station. This 3-star ryokan offers luggage storage space. There is a restaurant serving French cuisine, and free private parking is available. Everything. Really outstanding. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is literally meters from the sea. It's a little hard to find but totally worth it when you get there. It's a little outside town but there are really efficient bus services so not an issue if you want to go in for dinner and have a drink. The breakfast was one of our highlight meals of our 2 weeks in Japan. We loved our stay.
