It has been tastefully furnished and is a good blend of contemporary and traditional. There are nice areas for relaxing, fresh coffee on tap and a small kitchen area if you want to 'do it yourself'. There is however a nice, reasonably priced restaurant next door. Toilets and showers are modern and clean with a good selection of toiletries. Our room had a lovely view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice including home made cakes which were different on the two days we stayed.

First of all, the price matched the quality, which allowed to accommodate two couples. We enjoyed the sounds of the sea coming from the ocean and the swim at nearby thermal natural pool. It is strategically located in Patreksfjordur within walking distance to restaurants, a grocery store, a coffee shop and sites in town. It's also close by car or an extended easy walk to Kirkjufell Mountain. The surrounding mountains are beautiful. Our guest room was spacious, nicely appointed, and immaculately clean.

I loved the setup, it was a very rustic viking style furnishing. Loved that in the basement the two rooms share a common space and a small toaster, kettle and a huge TV with a common shared bathroom and toilet.
