Our cabin has everything we needed to cook a delicious meal after our long day of exploring; the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The home was tastefully decorated and the owner was very friendly . We loved everything about our stay here and would definitely return!

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, along with an on-site restaurant and bar. From someone working in the industry, I must say that this is a very solid choice and hotel in the area. I did a lot of research and there are not many hotels in Snaefellsnes, mostly guesthouses. This is a fantastic choice but if you go there with the expectation of a 5 start hotel, you will be disappointed. As a small guesthouse close to the mountains and total quietness in the area, it's absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is small but absolutely sufficient. The price-value-ratio is spot on. We enjoyed it very much and I can only recommend it to anyone thinking of going there.

Very curtsious and helpful staff.
