With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. We were lucky to find this place still available! It’s just a 5-minute walk from the port and easy to reach—no stairs to climb to get there. The room was spacious, airy, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed. No mosquitoes, and some nice bathroom amenities were provided. We even had bottled water waiting for us in the room. The staff was incredibly kind—he helped us carry our luggage upstairs without us even asking. Towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch. Each room has a small patio, and the view from our room was absolutely incredible. He also recommended a few restaurants nearby, and all of them were excellent. The closest beach, Kaminia, is about a 15-minute walk away. You can easily walk everywhere from the property. We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely come back again!

All rooms and studios open to a patio with garden view. Some also include a terrace overlooking the scenic Hydra Town. Featuring tiled floors and modern furnishing, each unit has a flat-screen TV and fridge. A kettle along with tea-and-coffee-making facilities is provided. Ingredients including jam, honey, juice and biscuits are also provided so that guests can prepare their breakfast themselves. Amazing! The location is the best in town and Stella is talking care of everything and helping when needed:)

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. Everything is very nice and comfortable

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. We loved all of it, location, staff, room excellent

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. A buffet breakfast enriched with local products is served daily. Free WiFi is provided. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Angelica’s romantic rooms retain a delightful note of old-fashioned charm and luxury. They are all air conditioned, and include satellite TV, safe and marbled bathroom with a complete set of Korres cosmetics. Beautiful decoration, very comfortable and well maintained.

The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea from your terrace or balcony. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers. A perfect location, quiet but close to everything at the port. We loved our little balconies. Great staff and service. Breakfast at their nearby property was tasty and there was a great view from that rooftop terrace.

The traditionally built Achilleas Pension is located just 150 metres from Hydra Port and the rocky Spilia Beach. A flowery internal courtyard lies on site, while WiFi is offered in public areas. The rooftop terrace features unobstructed sea views. The overall hotel was lovely and the room was nice. The bathroom has clearly been remodelled.
