I've always wanted to stop on a boat and decided to book this for my Husband's birthday. It is ideally located in Sheffield city centre. It's a short walk from the train station and the main shopping area. The owner sent very clear instructions on how to get here .The boat was very clean and comfortable. The heaters were on when we arrived so it was lovely and cozy and there are blankets to get snuggled on the sofa. The bed was really comfortable. We got woken up by the ducks the next morning. It was just a lovely place to stay

The city centre hotel Hampton by Hilton Sheffield offers stylish rooms just a 4-minute drive from Sheffield Train Station. Within 2 minutes’ walk of Sheffield Cathedral tram stop, the hotel offers on-site parking, free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour fitness centre. First time staying here and I must say it was absolutely amazing. From the friendly staff to the comfort of the rooms and the superb breakfast, everything was spot on. The room was spacious and comfortable, easily fitting two adults and two kids. I’m usually very picky with hotels—coming from Cyprus and being used to luxury hotels, I often find some places abroad a disappointment. But this one exceeded my expectations. The staff were fantastic—when my daughter had a small accident closing her fingers in a door, they were quick to help and immediately cheered her up. Especially Lily, who was super helpful, and the lovely lady (I didn’t catch her name) who kindly showed us where our car was parked, both went above and beyond. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and even a make-your-own waffles station, which was such a fun touch for the girls. Well done, and thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Converted from an old guardhouse, Garrison Hotel combines historical atmosphere with modern facilities. There is free WiFi, and a restaurant serving homemade food. Sheffield city centre is a 10-minute drive away. Everything was well. I like the breakfast, the room, and the atmosphere there. Lovely hotel.
